Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally as a teenager at Philly's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production was The Snow Queen. As part of the Arden Theater production of Into the Woods in 2002, she was awarded an award called the Barrymore Award for playing Little Red Ridinghood. Following her Broadway debut at the tender age of 15, she reprised this part and was awarded an award from the Drama League Award. Molly also performed in Fiddler on the Roof, the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. She then attended Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with a B.A. in Religious Studies. In that time, she made her debut in the role of Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Molly was able to begin her professional career after graduation with Off-Broadway productions such as End Days and The Wonderful Maladys at HBO Pilot. Molly has been in several regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, at Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre and Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank. She was Anne. Molly's best-known performance is on the set of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) where she plays Ali the 17-year-old daughter. Molly also appeared in Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written by and starring Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in 2008.
